New theory books are being published from 19th September 2011 to help with revision before changes to the theory test in January 2012.
Since the driving theory test started in 1996, the DSA has published questions and answers for the tests.
The DSA announced last November that it would stop publishing multiple choice questions and answers, with unpublished questions being used from January 2012.
This is to stop candidates from memorising theory test questions and answers. The new books contain questions and answers for revision and also explain the theory behind each question.
Other theory test products including CD Roms, downloadable PDFs and ebooks have also been revised and will be published shortly after the theory test books are published on 19 September.
The DSA has also launched its first ever mobile phone apps for theory test revision, to help candidates who prefer to learn using apps.
Make sure you are ready for the new theory test questions by ensuring you have up to date revision materials or apps. Speak to your driving instructor for more information.
